Overview

Intuit is seeking Seasonal Tax Associates - Retail to join their team at TurboTax locations across the United States. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, focusing on assisting customers with their tax needs and building long-term relationships within the community. Associates will provide tax preparation services and advice, both in-person and virtually, to empower clients to achieve positive financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax as a community ambassador and engage with new prospects
  • Convert leads into long-term clients through proactive outreach
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients
  • Facilitate tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences while addressing inquiries and challenges
  • Create content and resources for the community related to tax education
  • Participate in local marketing events and initiatives

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing individual 1040 tax returns
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Ability to obtain state licenses and an active PTIN
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Adaptability to changing environments and collaborative team settings
