Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Seasonal Tax Associate - Retail On-Site in Chicago, Illinois. This position is seasonal and involves helping customers navigate their tax needs while building community relationships. Tax Associates will leverage their expertise to provide tax preparation and advice, ultimately supporting customers in achieving positive financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients through outreach.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients with various tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and reviews to identify deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually using video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and ability to obtain necessary licenses and PTIN.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
