Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals for the position of Seasonal Tax Associate - Retail On-Site, aimed at helping customers navigate their tax needs in TurboTax locations across the U.S. This seasonal role emphasizes community engagement, tax expertise, and customer service, with the goal of building long-term relationships while empowering clients to achieve positive financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax locally and serve as a community ambassador.
  • Engage with prospects and nurture leads to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
  • Facilitate tax reviews and discovery sessions to uncover deductions and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients.
  • Address client inquiries and challenges related to tax filings.

Required skills

  • Experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prepara
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Ability to obtain relevant State licenses and an active PTIN.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
