Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Seasonal Tax Associates in TurboTax retail locations. This role merges tax expertise with community engagement to assist customers in navigating their tax needs while promoting TurboTax's services and establishing long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, representing the brand locally and engaging with new prospects.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients with diverse tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to help clients uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers in person and via Intuit's video communication tools.
  • Nurture leads and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax preparation software
  • Ability to obtain any necessary state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
