Overview

Intuit is looking for Seasonal Tax Associates to join their TurboTax team in New York on a temporary basis. This role involves using tax expertise to assist clients with their tax needs, fostering community relationships, and leveraging TurboTax's resources to enhance customer experience and build a client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with potential customers.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for individual and business tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually using TurboTax technology.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax preparation software.
  • Ability to obtain necessary state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
