Overview

Intuit is seeking Seasonal Tax Associates to join their team at TurboTax locations across the United States. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, assisting them with tax preparation and advice while promoting TurboTax's services within the local community. This position requires onsite presence and aims to build long-term customer relationships through exceptional tax support and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with new clients and convert prospects into long-term customers.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation and advice for a range of tax situations.
  • Facilitate tax discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience with a focus on financial goals.
  • Connect with clients using in-person and virtual communication tools.
  • Participate in local marketing efforts and events to promote TurboTax.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Ability to obtain state licenses and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services is a plus
