Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join as Seasonal Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in White Plains, New York. This role focuses on helping customers navigate their tax needs while actively engaging with the local community and building long-term client relationships. You will provide tax return preparation and advice, leveraging TurboTax software and support.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with new prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate tax reviews and discovery sessions to uncover deductions and optimize tax situations.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by connecting with clients and addressing their inquiries.
  • Build a local and online social presence as a TurboTax associate, creating accessible content for the community.

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional
  • Ability to obtain necessary state licenses, permits, and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
