Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Seasonal Tax Associates in Garden City, New York. This role involves helping customers navigate their tax needs both in-person and virtually, enhancing TurboTax's client base while providing expert tax services and fostering community engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax as a community ambassador and engage with new prospects
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds
  • Create exceptional customer experiences focused on financial goals
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and address their inquiries
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Ability to obtain related state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services
