Overview

Intuit is looking for Seasonal Tax Associates to join their team at TurboTax locations in Great Neck, New York. This role requires tax expertise and community engagement to assist customers with their tax needs while promoting TurboTax services. Tax Associates will be responsible for building long-term relationships and providing exceptional customer experiences both in-person and virtually.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Lead local events and participate in local marketing.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews for clients.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Address client inquiries and assist with tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Ability to obtain related state licensing and an active PTIN.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
