Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals for the role of Seasonal Tax Associate - Retail On-Site in Yonkers, New York. This position involves providing tax preparation and advisory services to customers, while also engaging with the local community to grow TurboTax's client base. The role combines tax expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, aiming to empower customers to achieve positive financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing efforts
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation services
  • Facilitate tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize tax situations
  • Create exceptional customer experiences focused on clients' financial goals
  • Address client inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Experience with professional tax preparation software
  • Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growing customer portfolio
