Overview

Intuit is looking for Seasonal Tax Associates to join their TurboTax locations across the United States. This role will involve engaging with the community, providing tax advice, and assisting customers in filing their taxes while supporting Intuit's mission of empowering prosperity. The associates will work both in-person and virtually, helping to grow TurboTax's client base and foster long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients, addressing both simple and complex tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers using Intuit's video communication tools and address their tax-related inquiries.

Required skills

  • Possess or able to obtain state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax pre
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
