Overview

As a Seasonal Repair Specialist at Safelite, you will utilize industry-leading technology to perform vehicle glass repairs while providing exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes a can-do attitude and aims to create a positive experience for customers by maintaining high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn to repair vehicle glass with guidance from experienced technicians.
  • Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass-related issues on customer vehicles.
  • Manage work orders and communication with customers using Safelite's Mobile Resource Management technology.
  • Promote and sell promotional items to customers.
  • Clean customer vehicles during the repair process and handle housekeeping tasks.
  • Safely operate company and customer vehicles and use company-issued tools and chemicals.
  • Comply with all company policies and standards.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • On-the-job training and completion of Safelite SafeTech certification
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools safely
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
