Overview

The Pack and Ship Shift Supervisor at Baseball Lifestyle 101 is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Pack and Ship team in a dynamic e-commerce and retail warehouse setting. This role involves managing shipping operations, training new hires, and ensuring that all outgoing orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the Pack and Ship team
  • Monitor team performance against productivity goals
  • Report operational issues to management
  • Train and onboard new team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with other departments to support order accuracy
  • Support inventory counts, audits, and other warehouse activities
  • Propose process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Establish warehouse practices to achieve efficiency
  • Set warehouse and team goals with management
  • Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of warehouse or fulfillment center experience
  • 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment and shipping platforms (Shopify preferred)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
