Job Description

Overview

The YMCA of the Rockies is seeking Seasonal Kitchen Staff for the Summer and/or Fall 2026, located in Estes Park, CO or Granby, CO. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning mountain environment while gaining practical experience in hospitality operations. On-site housing is available for those from outside the area, allowing staff to immerse themselves in outdoor activities and community experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Cleaning guest cabins, lodge rooms, and public areas
  • Making beds, changing linens, and restocking rooms
  • Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and fireplaces
  • Handling laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, and folding
  • Supporting team operations and stepping in where needed

Required skills

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
  • Comfort with physically active work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • No prior experience required; training provided
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. employer without Visa sponsorship
