Job Description

Overview

As a Seasonal Kitchen Staff member at YMCA of the Rockies, you will have the opportunity to live and work in the beautiful Colorado Rockies for the summer and/or fall of 2026. This role involves cleaning and maintaining guest accommodations in a unique working environment surrounded by nature. You will gain practical experience in hospitality while being part of a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean guest cabins, lodge rooms, and public areas
  • Make beds, change linens, and restock rooms
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize surfaces
  • Clean kitchens, bathrooms, and fireplaces
  • Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, and folding
  • Safely use cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Support team operations and assist in various tasks as needed

Required skills

  • Comfort with physically active work (lifting up to 50 lbs)

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
