Overview

The School Systems Manager at CONTACT COMMUNITY SERVICES INC will support school districts in enhancing their Tier 2 and Tier 3 student support services through professional development, coaching, and collaborative efforts. The role emphasizes strengthening data-driven systems to address the mental health and social-emotional needs of students within various educational frameworks.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development of Tier 2 and Tier 3 systems across districts
  • Establish clear referral and intervention pathways
  • Ensure quality and consistency in practices across schools
  • Utilize data to guide decision-making and support student needs
  • Deliver professional development to build staff skills
  • Provide embedded coaching for evidence-based practices
  • Facilitate cross-district learning communities
  • Coordinate with school-based and community mental health providers

Required skills

  • Master's degree in School Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in school-based behavioral health
  • Expertise in MTSS and PBIS frameworks
  • Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Planning (BIP)
  • Familiarity with evidence-based SEL and trauma-informed care
  • Experience providing professional development and coaching
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Valid New York State driver's license
