School Crossing Guard - Greenacres School Crossing Guard (Multiple Openings) Location: Greenacres, FL for Palm Beach County Sherriff's Department Pay $21.00 per hour. School Crossing Guards work scheduled shifts before and after school dismissal times, Monday through Friday. Typical schedules are 2 hours per day. School Crossing Guards help students travel safely to and from school while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule with weekends, school holidays, and summer breaks off. What You'll Do Assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings Help maintain safe traffic flow near schools Remain alert to changing traffic conditions Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers Follow all company safety procedures Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Reliable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to stand during scheduled shifts Strong communication and observation skills Applicants living in or near Greenacres may be better suited for the scheduled shift times Ability to communicate through English is required by Palm Beach Sheriff's Office. Schedule Expectations This is a very part-time position with split shifts before and after school.
