Overview

As a School Bus Driver at Summit School Services, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school or related activities. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided to help you obtain the required commercial driver's license (CDL) and learn company policies and procedures. Your commitment to safety and reliability will play a crucial role in ensuring students arrive at school on time and in a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus or other designated vehicle safely and reliably.
  • Ensure timely arrival to duty and maintain the scheduled route in a safe manner.
  • Assist passengers in evacuation during emergencies.
  • Report any accidents or incidents as per company policy.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and promote a positive company image.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Utilize vehicle equipment safely, including wheelchair lifts and emergency tools.

Required skills
