Overview

The Sewickley Valley YMCA is seeking dedicated professionals for part-time School Age Childcare positions to work in the Quaker Valley School District for the Fall 2026 school year. These roles focus on fostering children's growth and leadership skills in a positive and supportive educational environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set the tone for the after-school center as a Site Supervisor
  • Guide the team to provide a positive environment for students
  • Support the center environment and assist students as an Assistant Teacher
  • Influence children's daily experiences as a Before School Teacher
  • Ensure the compliance of childcare regulations and maintain a licensed program

Required skills

  • Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or Human Services
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children
  • 2500 hours of documented childcare experience
  • High School Diploma or Higher Education for some positions
  • Ability to obtain required clearances
