Job Description

Overview

Aerodyne Industries is seeking a Scheduler Professional Associate to join their Ground Systems Support team at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The role involves coordinating and tracking work activities, ensuring schedules are maintained for various operations related to NASA missions, including the International Space Station and other critical programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Interpret Maximo Work Order instructions to build daily schedules
  • Identify technician resource usage requirements and input into Primavera
  • Create work schedules in Primavera to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
  • Attend daily telecoms and scheduling meetings across multiple facilities
  • Manage multiple priorities and scheduling projects
  • Interface daily with shop management, engineers, and scheduling personnel
  • Recognize resource conflicts and collaborate with stakeholders on scheduling impacts

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 7+ years of related experience
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS)
  • Familiarity with resource planning, work control, and work order lifecycle
  • Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling for ground support equipment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Primavera and Maximo
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and travel to support meetings
