Overview

CSI Electrical Contractors Inc. is looking for a SCADA Integration Engineer to support the technical design and integration of SCADA systems related to substations and renewable energy projects. The role involves reviewing designs, providing oversight to field crews, and assisting with quality assurance and testing at project sites in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Review design documents and deliverables related to SCADA systems
  • Provide support and oversight to field crews during construction
  • Handle SCADA and network engineering aspects of photovoltaic and battery energy storage system projects
  • Assist with quality assurance, specification writing, and standards development
  • Conduct factory acceptance testing and cyber security audits
  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders for schedule and progress updates
  • Provide technical support and engineering review for internal and external documents
  • Troubleshoot field integration issues

Required skills

  • 4 to 7 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of IEEE 61850, IEC 61131-3, SEL, ABB & GE platforms, DNP, Modbus
  • Experience with routers and switches, LAN and WAN development
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and other web-based software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
