Overview

The Savannah Warehouse Lead at Agri Supply Company is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory control, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves leading staff, scheduling deliveries, and maintaining accurate records, all while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Check in and receive purchase orders, ensuring accuracy before entering into the system
  • Compile and maintain daily receiving logs and problem reports
  • Assist in scheduling incoming containers and prepare necessary paperwork
  • Lead and direct warehouse staff, including opening and closing operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and address any discrepancies
  • Operate Raymond and forklift as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist with inquiries
  • Contribute to safety programs and employee training

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of related experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience with Adobe, POS systems, and Google
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment, parts, and supplies
