Overview

As a Sanitation Supervisor at Pilgrim's, you will oversee all sanitation activities within the poultry processing plant, ensuring compliance with sanitation, food safety, and regulatory standards. This role involves leading the sanitation team, monitoring cleaning processes, and addressing issues in real time to maintain a safe and clean production environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all sanitation activities for compliance with standards
  • Lead, train, and schedule sanitation team members
  • Conduct pre-op and post-op inspections for sanitation effectiveness
  • Monitor chemical usage and equipment performance
  • Respond to sanitation-related issues during shifts
  • Maintain accurate sanitation records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and safe work practices
  • Support additional responsibilities as needed

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED; College Degree preferred
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience with leadership skills
  • Poultry, food, or manufacturing industry experience
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge and intermediate to advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
