Overview

The Sanitation Supervisor at Butterball is responsible for overseeing sanitation operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with food safety and safety standards. This role involves developing and implementing sanitation practices, training team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cleanliness and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervises the day-to-day activities of the sanitation team
  • Provides coaching and support for task completion
  • Participates in HR activities such as hiring and performance management
  • Enforces systems, policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for team member training
  • Implements chemical/sanitation safety programs
  • Monitors and adjusts cleaning procedures for optimal cleanliness
  • Partners with management to troubleshoot sanitation problems
  • Conducts routine assessments of cleaning and sanitation programs
  • Evaluates data related to cleaning verification and validation activities
  • Conducts regular meetings to discuss sanitation findings
  • Collaborates with facility departments to define sanitation activities and resources needed
  • Partners to develop and oversee the department's operating budget
