Job Description

Overview

As a Sanitation Supervisor at Butterball, you will be responsible for ensuring effective sanitation practices throughout the facility while adhering to food safety standards. You will lead a team and work cross-functionally to implement sanitation methods, conduct inspections, and train team members to uphold safety and quality compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of sanitation team members
  • Guide and train team to ensure tasks are completed successfully
  • Participate in HR activities such as hiring and performance management
  • Enforce safety systems, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor cleaning systems and procedures for optimal cleanliness
  • Troubleshoot sanitation issues in collaboration with management
  • Conduct routine assessments for continuous improvement
  • Evaluate cleaning verification data and trigger corrective actions
  • Communicate sanitation opportunities to production team members
  • Develop and oversee the sanitation department's operating budget

Required skills
