Overview

As a Salesforce CRM Software Engineer Senior at USAA, you will be part of the Investment Experience Technology organization, working in a fast-paced, agile environment. Your role involves leading the development of scalable, innovative solutions that empower members and financial advisors with advanced investment tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions across various technologies.
  • Lead code and design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop algorithms to solve business needs and investigate technical problems.
  • Mentor engineers on design, development, and maintenance of systems.
  • Identify system performance issues and optimize solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and security policies.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6 years of software development experience
  • 4 years of experience in all phases of software development lifecycle
  • Basic understanding of Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
  • Experience with cloud technologies and tools
  • Knowledge of security coding practices
  • Experience with Salesforce development in Apex, Visualforce, and LWC
  • Building APIs with Spring Boot
  • Understanding of Docker and container-based APIs
  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks and version control systems like GIT
  • Familiarity with data integration and automated data processing
