Overview

D.J. Bitzan Jewelers Inc is hiring a full-time Sales Professional to create exceptional customer experiences that drive sales. The ideal candidate is someone who can connect with customers, set and achieve sales goals, and handle a fast-paced retail environment with reliability and pride.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers quickly and warmly, building genuine rapport
  • Ask great questions, listen well, and guide customers to the right jewelry solution
  • Recommend products and services naturally
  • Consistently sell to meet or exceed individual and store goals
  • Support engagement ring and bridal consultations, custom design conversations, and special orders
  • Take in jewelry repairs and service requests with accuracy and urgency
  • Create and update customer profiles, document sales, and manage follow-ups
  • Process transactions, returns, and exchanges confidently through the POS system
  • Help with opening/closing procedures and keep the showroom clean and beautiful

Required skills

  • Experience in consultative, customer-facing sales
  • Strong communication skills (in person, phone, email, text)
  • Self-motivated, dependable, high-energy, and coachable
  • Comfortable with sales goals and performance expectations
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Basic math skills; comfortable using POS and customer database systems
  • Retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
  • Team-oriented and collaborative
