Overview

Competition Auto Group is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to support their sales and pre-owned operations through data analysis and reporting. This onsite role in St James, NY requires a collaborative and detail-oriented professional to contribute insights and strategic support within a family-owned dealership environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze all sales and lead data
  • Prepare custom reports
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvements
  • Prepare custom analysis spreadsheets
  • Participate in performance analysis discussions
  • Develop custom analysis applications
  • Assist with pre-owned operations pricing and performance analysis

Required skills

  • College degree in statistics, business analytics, mathematics, or similar analytics focus
  • Internship and/or 1+ year of similar experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Some knowledge of software programming and database management preferred
