Overview

Imperial Star Solar is seeking a Sales Manager for the Solar Industry in New York. This full-time role involves executing strategic sales plans, nurturing client relationships, and promoting renewable energy solutions. The Sales Manager will focus on business development across various solar assets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sales plans and achieve targets
  • Establish and nurture client relationships
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Identify and pursue sales initiatives across C&I, Residential, and Utility-Scale
  • Analyze sales data and provide reports to management
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams
  • Lead and mentor sales team members

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in the solar industry B2B with a successful sales track record
  • Strong leadership and sales management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Deep understanding of US market trends and regulations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Google Suite, CRM (Zoho or related), contract management, and docusign
