Appliance Canada is seeking a motivated Sales Manager in Training to join their team in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. This role provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills through a comprehensive management training program, aimed at fostering successful careers within the company. Key responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the sales team, ensuring effective floor management
  • Train and develop team members, building a pipeline of future managers
  • Conduct recruitment processes including interviews, hiring, and onboarding
  • Resolve customer issues while maintaining a positive service experience
  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies
  • Ensure safety and security within the store for associates and customers
  • Shop the competition and conduct daily/weekly sales meetings
  • Prepare and manage sales promotions and contests
  • Maintain open communication across all store departments
  • Support and develop a collaborative team environment
  • Liaise with the home office for feedback and information access
  • Conduct engaging meetings and support department managers
  • Complete various reports as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
