Marshall & Sterling Inc is seeking a dynamic Group Benefits Sales Executive who will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and maintaining existing accounts in the commercial insurance sector. This position can be fulfilled remotely or from various offices in New York, and is suited for a motivated professional with strong communication skills and a successful sales track record.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth and expand existing accounts
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects to achieve sales and retention goals
  • Craft compelling value propositions using provided tools
  • Gather and analyze detailed risk and underwriting information
  • Create and present customized insurance proposals
  • Follow renewal workflows to ensure client retention
  • Identify opportunities for referrals to other divisions
  • Partner with internal teams for seamless client support
  • Foster strong professional relationships with colleagues

Required skills

  • Active state insurance license
  • Experience in pursuing and closing sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
