Overview

Marshall & Sterling Inc is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive in Commercial Lines, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to drive new business growth and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This hybrid role requires a licensed Property & Casualty professional with strong communication skills and a proven sales record.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth while maintaining and expanding the existing book of business
  • Proactively build and manage a pipeline of prospects to achieve sales and retention goals
  • Craft compelling value propositions using provided tools and expertise
  • Gather and analyze risk and underwriting information for tailored insurance solutions
  • Create and present customized insurance proposals via the advanced online system
  • Follow structured renewal workflows for strong client retention
  • Identify opportunities to refer clients to other divisions within the company
  • Effectively delegate client service tasks to internal teams
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues for a collaborative work environment

Required skills

  • Active state insurance license
  • Demonstrated success in sales with a strong track record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
