Overview

Marshall & Sterling Inc is looking for a licensed Sales Executive specializing in Commercial Lines to join their hybrid Fort Lauderdale office. The successful candidate will be a motivated professional with strong communication skills and a solid background in the commercial insurance industry, responsible for driving new business growth and maintaining client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth while maintaining and expanding your book of business
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects to achieve sales and retention goals
  • Craft a compelling value proposition and use available tools
  • Gather and analyze risk and underwriting information for tailored insurance solutions
  • Create and present customized insurance proposals
  • Follow structured renewal workflows for client retention
  • Identify opportunities to refer clients to other divisions
  • Delegate client service tasks effectively with internal teams
  • Foster strong professional relationships within the company

Required skills

  • Active state insurance license
  • Proven sales success and goal achievement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
