Overview

The Sales Development Representative at Astound is tasked with promoting and selling the company's internet, WiFi, mobile, and TV services to customers. This role involves communicating effectively with potential customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring a positive customer experience, while also handling sales processes and customer inquiries.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell target products and packages to customers
  • Demonstrate products and services to inbound customer traffic
  • Communicate current promotions to potential customers
  • Establish rapport with visitors and match them with suitable packages
  • Review and enhance customer service experiences
  • Utilize billing and sales tools for customer inquiries
  • Process customer payments and manage cash drawer
  • Document sales progress and productivity
  • Handle service changes and trouble calls

Required skills

  • Sales and customer service experience, preferably in a call center
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Knowledge of cable and data products and services
  • Problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • Telecommunications experience preferred
