Overview

Flagler Health is seeking a Sales Development Representative to be the first point of contact with prospective customers. This role is critical in generating pipeline for the sales team and involves engaging with target accounts to create qualified opportunities, all while supporting the company's growth in the healthcare technology sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, email campaigns, and outreach.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Evaluate inbound and outbound leads for fit and urgency.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and uncover business challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline progression in CRM.
  • Conduct research on target accounts and competitive landscapes to personalize outreach.
  • Refine messaging and prospecting strategies based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, and Leadership on target accounts and revenue goals.
  • Gather insights from prospects regarding market trends and customer pain points.

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in sales development or customer-facing roles, preferably in SaaS or healthcare technology
  • Ability to achieve or exceed activity and pipeline generation goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as ZoomInfo or Outreach
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple campaigns
  • Coachability and willingness to learn modern sales methodologies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
