Overview

The Sales Coordinator at Yamato Corporation plays a vital role in providing administrative and operational support to the Sales Project Management team and the broader sales organization. This position enhances efficiency, accuracy, and communication throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring smooth progress on sales opportunities and customer projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of customer quotes
  • Coordinate opportunity progression from inquiry to order entry
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance within CRM and ERP systems
  • Support product demonstration initiatives and manage sample shipments
  • Gather and validate sales and financial data for reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and internal teams
  • Maintain records of product samples for demonstrations
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts and assist with SOP documentation

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in project coordination or sales support
  • Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce and Epicor a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines
  • Self-motivated and dependable
