Overview

Spectrum is seeking a Sales and Customer Solutions Representative in Riverview, Florida, to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth through effective sales techniques and problem resolution. This role requires a commitment to retaining valued customers and upselling services while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to resolve billing inquiries, product questions, and service complaints
  • Apply telephone-based techniques to retain customers and upsell Spectrum's video, data, and phone products
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions
  • Achieve and exceed activity goals by following call handling metrics
  • Master order processing within the billing system for retained accounts and new sales entries
  • Demonstrate proficiency in explaining Spectrum's products and services
  • Support efforts to enhance the customer experience through every transaction

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of cable communications products and services
  • Ability to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Effective computer skills and experience with billing systems
  • Proven customer service and sales techniques
  • Ability to handle irate customers and resolve issues
  • Strong organizational skills
