Overview

The Sales and Business Development Manager at Alsum Farms will oversee the entire Sales Department, leading both National and Retail teams. This role focuses on increasing revenue through business development, expanding the brand's presence, and ensuring that sales quotas are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to national and retail sales teams.
  • Motivate sales teams to meet quotas and analyze operational reports.
  • Identify new business opportunities and customer preferences.
  • Assign territories and set sales quotas.
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales strategies.
  • Prepare and monitor the sales budget.
  • Assist in recruiting and training salesforce talent.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and foster continuous learning within teams.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to grow business.
  • Prepare documentation for RFPs and present market research to the marketing team.

Required skills
