Overview

The Sales and Business Development Manager at Alsum Farms will oversee and lead the activities of the entire Sales Department, focusing on both National and Retail teams. This role is critical for increasing company revenue through identifying new business opportunities and expanding brand presence, promoting a culture of improvement and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the national and retail sales teams to meet quotas.
  • Analyze sales and operational records to project sales and identify new markets.
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs and match them with appropriate products or services.
  • Develop sales strategies and prepare sales budgets.
  • Recruit and train salesforce talent and foster continuous learning.
  • Build relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors.
  • Prepare documentation for requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Research market trends and recommend new offerings.
