Overview

The Sales Agent role at Automobile Club Of Missouri is an entry-level position aimed at transitioning into a full-fledged Sales Agent after completing training. This position focuses on sales activities, providing information on insurance products and club memberships to support overall growth and service quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell insurance products and club memberships
  • Quote rates and qualify applicants
  • Inspect vehicles or property and complete documentation
  • Develop sales leads and contacts
  • Manage time and organize information to achieve sales goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
  • Collect membership and insurance payments
  • Complete insurance and membership forms for updates
  • Attend meetings, training workshops, and seminars

Required skills

  • 1-3 years in insurance sales/service (preferred)
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and enhance closing skills
