The Sales Agent Trainee position at Automobile Club Of Missouri is an entry-level role designed to transition into a Sales Agent. The position involves engaging in sales activities to promote Club memberships and insurance products in a District Office, with responsibilities including client interactions, documentation, and adherence to underwriting guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell insurance products using successful sales techniques.
  • Quote rates and qualify applicants.
  • Complete documentation according to underwriting standards.
  • Promote Club memberships and provide information on services.
  • Develop sales leads and manage time effectively.
  • Communicate with clients and enhance closing skills.
  • Ensure accurate ratings and documentation for new policies.
  • Provide insurance policy services to Club members.
  • Collect payments and manage Club finances securely.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of insurance sales/service experience preferred.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License valid in selling state.
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable DMV record.
