Job Description

Overview

Dri Tech LLC is seeking a motivated and field-oriented Safety Technician to support daily safety operations on commercial roofing and construction projects. This role involves implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and maintaining a culture of safety across jobsites.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and audits
  • Assist with enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Monitor fall protection systems, PPE, and housekeeping standards
  • Participate in incident investigations and near-miss reporting
  • Conduct new hire orientations and toolbox talks
  • Maintain safety documentation and inspection logs
  • Support supervisors with hazard identification and risk mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with site-specific safety requirements
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first-aid support
  • Travel to jobsites throughout Nevada and surrounding regions as required

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of construction or industrial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA construction standards preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
