Job Description Job Description HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SAFETY/LOSS PREVENTION SUPERVISOR IN RUTHER GLEN, VA Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Safety/Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our team in Ruther Glen, VA. This individual will be responsible for identifying, eliminating, and controlling hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using safety standards, best management practices, and analytical techniques. Apply online and kickstart your career today!Pay, Schedule, and LocationStarting at $47,500 to $52,500/yearly, paid weeklyExcellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and visionFull time schedule availableLocated in Ruther Glen, VADuties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and conduct training on OSHA regulations and company policies.Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures.Conduct daily safety inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions.Maintain all site-required documentation related to safety issues, i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs.Conduct accident investigations and facilitate the return to work program along with the staffing agencies.Must be 100% knowledgeable of Workers Comp, as Safety General Manager will be responsible to oversee all aspects of Workers Comp.Submission of weekly/monthly reports to Safety General Manager/ and Loss Prevention General Manager.Manage daily activities regarding injury management and workers compensation issues.Work in conjunction with the Staffing Agencies in administrating the company's Substance Abuse Program, including drug and alcohol testing.Conducts safety training and meetings to educate employees on recognizing and controlling workplace hazards.Enforces the Company's safety program and monitors its effectiveness.Employees are responsible for interpreting existing and/or writing new proceduresSafety/LP Supervisor that has a "Dry" and "Freezer' location will oversee both the Safety and Loss Prevention Operations for both locations.Requirements and QualificationsMinimum of 2 years supervisory experience.Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards, First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500 certification.Familiar with warehouse management systems.Familiar with Hazard Communication Standards.Employees have frequent contact with employees, representatives of outside agencies and organizations and therefore must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Strong computer skills required; i.e., All Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, Power Point) (Salary range based on experience) ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNEL Do you need your next job fast?
