Overview

Thillens Inc is seeking a Route Manager for their armored transportation services in Belleville, Illinois. This leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a route crew, and ensuring safe and efficient completion of routes in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a route team
  • Ensure daily routes are completed safely and accurately
  • Perform and oversee armored route operations and ATM service
  • Enforce security procedures and company policies
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, data entry, and documentation
  • Identify and address performance or training gaps within the route crew
  • Be hands-on and lead by example

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background checks and DOT requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
  • High School/GED completed
  • Valid FOID card (Illinois) or 108 Security Permit (Wisconsin)
  • Security or firearm experience (helpful but not required)

  • $19.00 per hour training pay for the first 90 days
  • $22.00 per hour regular pay + performance-based bonus
