Overview

As a Route Driver/Job Coach at Home of Hope, you will be responsible for developing business relationships to create employment opportunities for clients and facilitating their vocational integration. This role involves counseling clients, advocating for their needs, and ensuring they have the necessary support to achieve their career goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop business relationships to create employment opportunities for clients
  • Facilitate client placement and retention in vocational environments
  • Counsel clients on obtaining and sustaining social services
  • Match client skills to appropriate career paths
  • Assist employers with client training and job knowledge
  • Complete documentation for billing services
  • Support clients in achieving maximum potential and self-determination
  • Assist Retail Manager in scheduling

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months' route driving experience
  • Experience in a service-oriented environment, ideally in job development
  • Above average interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency in using office equipment
  • Ability to organize tasks and produce accurate work
  • Valid driver's license and current automotive insurance
  • First Aid/CPR Training
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Criminal background clear of encumbrances as identified by the State of Oklahoma Health Department
