General labor is an essential part of the role, including moving containers ranging from 5-gallon pails to 55-gallon drums using hand carts, drum dollies, pallet jacks, and other equipment. Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is seeking a Route Driver / Sales & Service Representative in Williston, ND. In this role, you will operate a Class B box truck on an assigned route, build relationships with customers, provide onsite service for parts washer equipment, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and identify opportunities to sell additional Safety-Kleen products and services. RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities:Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe mannerMay visit 10-12 customer sites per daySwitch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutionsService parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinksUp-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the fieldService automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businessesComplete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely mannerFollow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rulesSafely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirementsObserve all company environmental health and safety operating guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications:Class B CDLObtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employmentBasic computer and math skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsPerform physical functions per job requirements Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position Preferred Qualifications:Strong customer service skills Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL) Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
