Overview

Ethan Conrad Properties, Inc. is seeking a Roofing Supervisor to lead a team of roofing technicians in Sacramento, managing repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance for their roofing division. The supervisor will ensure compliance with safety regulations and budget constraints while providing training and performance evaluations for team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Assigns personnel to roofing jobs including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Reviews work orders for accuracy, quality, and proper cost allocation
  • Maintains budgets, records, and prepares reports related to roofing operations
  • Supervises major roof repairs and installations to ensure specifications are met
  • Conducts quality control inspections on roofing work
  • Monitors not-to-exceed limits on work orders to stay within budget
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Instructs staff on proper roofing techniques and safety procedures
  • Maintains accurate records of work orders and labor hours using Yardi
  • Estimates and orders roofing materials and supplies as needed
  • Coordinates roofing work with other trades and departments
  • Provides technical guidance and support to roofing technicians
  • Administers personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluations

Required skills

  • Supervisory experience in roofing services (minimum five years)
  • Knowledge of roofing maintenance and repair programs
  • Experience with project management tools like Yardi and Paylocity
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards in roofing
  • Ability to train and evaluate roofing staff
  • Skilled in roofing installation and maintenance across various systems
