Job Description

Overview

The H&K Group is seeking a Rock Truck Driver/Maintenance Tech to join their Easton Quarry team. The role involves operating rock trucks to transport and dump materials, as well as performing maintenance and repairs at the quarry. This position does not require a CDL license.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform work according to MSHA and H&K safety policies
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of equipment
  • Operate rock truck to safely transport material
  • Perform routine maintenance on rock truck
  • Assist with maintenance as needed
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Mechanical and maintenance experience
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to use appropriate PPE as needed
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for the job
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
  • Experience working in outdoor industrial settings (preferred)
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification (preferred)
