Job Description

Overview

Hazleton Quarry, a division of The H&K Group, Inc., is seeking a Rock Truck Driver to operate a rock truck for transporting and dumping materials. The role emphasizes safety compliance and routine vehicle maintenance while offering training opportunities and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Complete pre and post trip inspections of equipment
  • Operate the rock truck safely and efficiently to transport materials
  • Raise and tilt truck bed to dump materials
  • Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating and cleaning the rock truck
  • Assist with maintenance when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent or one month of related experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
  • MSHA or other relevant safety certification (preferred)
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements
