Overview

The H&K Group is seeking a Rock Truck Driver for their Hazleton Quarry division in Weatherly, Pennsylvania. This role involves operating a rubber-tired rock truck to transport and dump materials, adhering to safety standards and performing routine maintenance on the vehicle.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate rock truck to transport materials safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections of equipment
  • Complete daily inspection sheets
  • Dump material by raising and tilting the truck bed
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the rock truck
  • Assist with maintenance tasks when needed
  • Follow all MSHA and company safety policies

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for the job
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification (preferred)
